What's New?

8/17/08 - In just a couple more days, the lavender will be all harvested! The season is almost over and by the end of August we'll be closed here at the farm. But plans are already afoot for upcoming fall and winter bazaars! We would like to extend many thanks to everyone who visited the farm during 2008. One of the best things about our adventures here at Red Barn Lavender is the wonderful people with whom we've become acquainted!

The bees are busily making honey and the new stock should be ready in September or early October. The honey from 2007's harvest is almost gone!

Western Washington University's Theatre in the Park came to Red Barn Lavender on Thursday, August 7th! "Commedia in the Park" was lots of fun and it seemed everyone enjoyed the show!

Washington State Tourism videographers were here in July to film our beautiful farm. Thanks to Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism for sending them our way!

Our Garden Club and Red Hat Society groups had a great time visiting us in late June! We did, too - some of the nicest people come visit us here! We're looking forward to two senior groups coming for farm tours during July.
